Buying Tommy Hilfiger Clothes on Holiday
I was travelling to Turkey on holiday for a summer break, and had a budget put aside, firstly for food, drink and other holiday essentials whilst there, but I also had a 200 pound budget for clothes. I had heard from various people, that I would be able to pick up authentic designer labelled clothing for a fraction of the cost of what I would normally pay in the United Kingdom.
After spending a glorious two weeks on the beaches of Turkey in the sun, I decided to spend the last day of my holiday shopping.
On entering the shopping parade I noticed that there were many designer boutiques, all of which had quality clothing, all of which seemed to be cheaper than the same brand of clothing in the United Kingdom.
I was looking for items of clothing both for me and my husband, who was back in the United Kingdom working. After buying a good deal of clothing for myself, I decided to look for polo shirts for men. I could see various colours and styles of polo shirts with all different designer labels on them. The ones that stood out the most though, were the Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts. They were of good quality and you could tell by the cut of the cloth that they made to a high specification..
I looked through the various colours on offer, there was racing car green, navy blue and white. I liked the look of the green shirt. All of the polo shirts for men had the logos on the front of the shirt, and again on a label inside of the shirt.
I bought the green one, but then decided that I would also take the blue one too.
When I came back to the United Kingdom, my husband was really pleased with his shirts, and said that I should go back and get more for other members of my family. So I decided to take a trip to Spain, just for the weekend, so I could do more shopping in the designer boutiques. Again I found that Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts for men were some of the best on the market.
I bought polo shirts in a variety of different colours for other men within my family network. They were all cheaper than what I would have paid in the United Kingdom, however after taking my air fair into account it probably worked out the same. I will be shopping for clothing abroad again next year, but I think next time I will incorporate it into my summer holiday. This way the shopping will simply be a treat at the end of a holiday, instead of a purpose shopping trip.
After giving the polo shirts out to my family members, I have noticed that they are well worn. They have also stood the test of washing, and after a number of washes have still managed to keep their vibrant colour. They still look as good now, as they did on their hanger in the shop.
